Very often non-attorney clients are in the process of drafting or signing a lease or purchase/sale agreement and at the very last minute realize it would be wise to have an attorney review the contract for anything they may have missed, or it becomes obvious that there are matters in the contract or lease that are problematic either because they cannot be understood or are in conflict with other areas of the sale contract or lease.

I cannot tell you how many times I get calls from people who did a contract or lease themselves and now it is time to enforce the contract or lease and a critical provision is missing. At that point it is to late. What was done was done. I see so many people getting forms off the internet which are good forms, but maybe not specific to the unique set of circumstances presented.

You can save a lot of time and headaches. I can’t tell you how many times I have been told by clients that they were glad they called instead of doing it 100% on their own.

Our office generally charges $195.00 for a 1 hour review of a document which includes a phone consultation. If the document is more comprehensive it may require follow up conversations or reviews.

Typically, the process for contract review involves e-mailing the document to our office, our office electronically generates an invoice on a secure client portal. Upon payment the contract is reviewed and then discussed together by telephone.
